ISIN/SEDOLs for target date funds

The Target Date Funds used as the default investment arrangement for members of the DC Section of the Scheme are a ‘wrapper’ fund which invest in a blend of underlying bond, equity and diversified funds.

In line with The Pension Regulator’s guidance, for a ‘wrapper’ fund such as a Target Date Fund, the ISIN / SEDOL for the underlying funds must be provided, not the wrapper fund itself. It is important to note however that the mix of underlying funds and investment types in which a Target Date Fund is invested in changes over time to provide a smoother investment journey towards a targeted retirement date.
