Coronavirus Update - Member Services


As of 8th December 2021, the ABF Pension Scheme have been operating their London office with a reduced team working in the office in line with the current Government guidelines for the Coronavirus pandemic, with the majority of the team working remotely. The Scheme has a comprehensive business continuity plan in place to ensure all member services continue, but as a result of the Omicron wave staff absences are occurring and this is unfortunately having an impact on turnaround times, in particular when handling incoming and outgoing post.

The team will endeavour to respond as quickly as possible but there may be a longer turnaround time compared with the usual service. If your enquiry is urgent, please call the department on 0800 090 2267, the team are available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. We are able to reply to you much quicker by email than by post. If you need to send us documents securely then please ask us to provide you with access to our secure file transfer service, which you can use to send your documents to us securely online. Please ensure that you have quoted your full name and membership number on your enquiry. If you do not have this to hand, please can you provide a contact phone number so that we can call you if we need further details to identify your account.

Please note that we are unable to accept changes to your details by email without a signature – signed instructions can be accepted if attached to an email. We can however take your updated details over the phone – please call the team on 0800 090 2267.
